In a mysterious and surreal zone somewhere between Tehran and Winnipeg, the lives of several characters become intertwined in surprising and mysterious ways. Schoolchildren Negin and Nazgol find a sum of money frozen in winter ice and attempt to cash it in. Meanwhile, Massoud leads a group of increasingly confused tourists through the monuments and historical sites of Winnipeg. Matthew quits his pointless job at a Quebec government agency and embarks on a mysterious journey to visit his mother. Space, time and personal identities blur, intertwine and merge in a surreal comedy of misdirection.
