Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of “Wool”; – the book has 82 chapters. The fans on the floor in several episodes rotate in the wrong direction relative to the orientation of the blades. Spinning this way does not push or pull air. Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 Must-Watch TV Shows of 2023 (2023). I really liked Silo. Exactly my kind of series. I love mystery and suspense. I hadn’t read or heard of the books Silo is based on. The story is good and interesting. The series takes place 140 years after the apocalypse. The 10,000 people who are left now live in a silo, and these people have never been outside the silo. They don’t even know what stars are. They know, however, that leaving the silo is fatal. Some people choose to leave to learn more, but they always die. Those who stay in the silo can witness through a window every time someone wants to leave and see how and when they die. Rebecca Ferguson stars as Juliette Nichols, who tries to figure out what’s outside the silo and why they can’t get out without dying. The acting is good, as is the character development. However, the pacing can be a bit slow as there are some filler episodes. No doubt they could have shortened the series by at least two episodes, but that doesn’t bother me that much because the series as a whole is so good. I’m looking forward to the second season with more suspense, mystery and answers about what’s going on outside the silo!
