It tells the story of three very different families competing to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they believe will solve all their problems. Denis Leary and Ray Romano starred in the Ice Age series (2002-present). I always get a little nervous when such big names are involved in a Netflix limited series. But I felt like this cast really clicked and hit all the right notes. Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow have perfect chemistry for this story. I’m always happy to see Linda Cardellini in a role like this. Great pacing, appropriate suspense, plenty of comic relief. For once, I wasn’t expecting a surprise ending, and each storyline felt resolved in the final episode. I really enjoyed it! Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a palette cleanser in this fast-paced new world of streaming.
