Great acting by everyone
The best new show since the disappointing 4th season of Jack Ryan and all the lackluster shows, this was much better in every way. It feels very well made and the action/fight scenes are great. I feel like most of the criticism of this show in the comments section has to do with how unrealistic it is because it’s all female operative stuff, and like, I’m not opposed to a good female-led action show as a man.
It’s an original IP that doesn’t make the male lead a female lead
I also haven’t seen any red flags so far, like making every man look incompetent or anything. Also at first I thought it would be more of a plot device but then they delved a bit into the family and I usually cringe at that but I didn’t like what they did there. My only criticism is that the action plot of this particular film crew really limits the story and could kill it by rehashing the season’s plot/villain…
it needs to be more comprehensive
they could probably do a new, more intense and fast-paced homeland otherwise it could become too episodic like The Blacklist PS: Nicole Kidman’s part so far is incredibly small and dull and could have been done by anyone else… We’ll see what the great Morgan Freeman brings to the show… But from what I’ve seen so far the show could stand on its own without another A-lister Zaldana.
It’s entertaining even if it’s not the History Channel show some commentators prefer
TLDR All in all, cautiously optimistic but I like what I see so far, everything is incredibly polished and well done.
