Kung fu prodigy Li Fong is uprooted from her home in Beijing and forced to move to New York City. When a friend needs help, Li enters karate competitions. Li’s teacher, Mr. Han, enlists the help of the original Karate Kid Daniel LaRusso. On November 21, 2023, Sony released a film starring Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan, announcing that the two are returning for a new film, as well as a global casting search for the new titular “Karate Kid”. He appears in the cast of AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon: Part of Halle’s World (2022)
